Licence to Grow (zie de blog van gisteren) geeft in een box een lijstje met condities die een voedingsbodem zijn voor ontwikkeling of innovatie, gebaseerd op een paper van Johnson:
- the adjencent possible (make combinations based on what you have; new ideas are often combinations of existing parts of another domain)
- liquid networks (ideas are not isolated, use the coffee corner for creativity)
- the slow hunch (eureka seldom occurs, hunches need space and time to evolve)
- serendipity (ideas need to be able to bump into each other)
- error (being right keeps you in place, being wrong forces you to explore)
- exaptation (take something that emerges from one use and repurpose it)
- platforms (platform building is about emergent behaviour)
